    This handsome Blackwork is worked on Edinburgh linen, one of the finest linens in the world.  If there is a special building in your life, a wedding venue or family home, then there is no finer way to preserve on image of it. The technique of blackwork goes back centuries and lends its self so well to the lines of architecture.  The picture will be all hand embroidered in the UK.
     It can be bought either in an embroidery frame as shown in the pictures for the shabby chic look or in a white box frame ready to be hung or propped up.  

    How it works
    You send me your best loved image of the building you want immortalised and I will do the rest.  You can send the picture via Email or post; please do not hesitate to get in contact if you want to discuss any thing to do with the project.

      Embroidered on Edinburgh linen with stranded black cotton.
      If you chose to have you picture displayed in the embroidery frame it is stitched on to calico so the back protected. Alternatively the finished picture can be stretched over and stitched to covered hand cut mount board ready to pop in to the white box frame.

      Dimensions

      The blackwork can either come in an embroidery frame 44cm x 34 cm (17.3” x 13.4”) approximate or an white box picture frame measuring 34cm x 29 cm (13.3" x 11.4") approximate.
